The last two years have poured enormous investment into robot capability — foundation models, actuators, sensors, humanoid platforms. What hasn't kept pace is independent verification: a credible, third-party check on whether a given robot system is actually safe and authorized to operate around people, in the physical world, before it ships.
Labs and manufacturers grading their own robots is a structural conflict of interest, not a safety process. DropFly Robotics exists to be the independent layer — the entity that evaluates, tests, and gates physical AI systems on behalf of everyone who has to trust them: operators, regulators, insurers, and the public sharing space with them.

This is not a lab fund, and we're not going to pretend it is. A small flex unit in Los Angeles runs $2,500–3,000 a month before buildout, so twelve months of rent alone would consume this entire raise and then some. We haven't earned a lease yet.
What $25,000 does buy is a rig that can evaluate the models labs are actually shipping, not toy ones: a 96GB-VRAM workstation, a proper leader/follower arm pair for recording real human demonstrations, and the sensors to capture every trial. That still runs in a garage. It's enough to produce independent evaluation results nobody else is producing — which is what makes a real lab fundable later.
It's a donation to the mission, not an investment: no equity changes hands, and there's no cap table implication for backers. We're keeping it non-dilutive on purpose — the trust we're asking companies and regulators to place in DropFly Robotics starts with being straightforward about what this raise is and isn't.
No salaries, no rent, no software. Every dollar is hardware that outlives the raise.
